Pocketlyne is a third-party client for Outline. It connects straight to the instance you already run or subscribe to. Read, search and star for free. Editing is a subscription.
We run no servers. Your documents go from your Outline instance to your phone and nowhere else. We have no copy of them, and no account for you.

Your wiki never passes through us.
Tick a box on your phone and it is ticked in Outline, in the browser, for everyone on your team. It goes to your own server and back — the same one you already open every day. Most apps would put a server of their own in the middle. We do not have one to put there.

You have no account with us
You sign in to your own Outline — through your browser, the way you always do, or with a token you issue yourself. There is no Pocketlyne account and no password of ours, so there is nothing of yours to lose if we disappear tomorrow.
We cannot read your documents
Not "we promise not to" — we have nowhere to keep them and nothing they travel through. There are also no adverts, no tracking and no analytics of any kind in the app.
One outside company, and we will name it
Someone has to answer whether your App Store or Google Play account paid for Pro. That question goes to RevenueCat, under a random number — never your name, your email or the address of your wiki. That is the only one, and we would rather tell you than have you find out.
You do not have to take that on trust. Here is every request the app makes, with what each one is for — including the one we would rather you heard from us.

That is the whole list.
The key is yours, and you can take it back.
Installing any wiki client means handing it a key to your wiki. That is the real question, so here is exactly what the key is, what it opens, where it sits, and how you take it back — without asking us.
We ask for write access from the very first sign-in, even though the free tier cannot write. It is the same key the moment you buy Pro, and we would rather tell you now than widen it later and look like we changed our minds.
- What you hand over
- Two ways in, and your instance decides which. Usually you sign in through your browser, the way you already sign in to Outline, and it hands the app a token — we never see your password, or your Google or Slack account. If your instance does not offer that, you paste a personal API token you issued yourself. There is no minimum Outline version to check against: the app asks your instance what it supports when you add it, and takes whichever way in it offers.
- What it can do
- It reads and writes in your name, inside whatever you are already allowed to do in Outline. It can never do more than you can, and it is scoped to reading and writing — nothing administrative.
- How you take it back
- In your own Outline, with no involvement from us. Browser sign-in appears there as an app called Pocketlyne — revoke it and this app stops working. A pasted API token is deleted where you created it. Signing out inside the app does the revoking for you, wherever your instance supports it.
- What signing out clears
- The session in the device keychain, every document cached for that instance, and any edits still queued to sync. Nothing is left on the phone — and there was never a copy anywhere else to clear.

Every line below is a fact about the shipped app, not a promise about our intentions.
- The key itself
- In the device keychain — the same place your other apps keep their credentials — optionally behind Face ID or a fingerprint. It never leaves the phone.
- The documents you have read
- In a local database on the device, per instance, so they open offline. Signing out clears them.
- Your subscription status
- At RevenueCat, under an anonymous id we never link to you, your email or your instance.
- On our servers
- Nothing. We do not run any for this app, which is why this page can make the claim at all.
And this is who is asking.
Pocketlyne is made by Web rješenja d.o.o., a software company at Markuševečka cesta 115, 10040 Zagreb, Croatia, registered under OIB 97669668809. You will see the address hello@ws.agency on this site and in the app: that is the same company, not a third party, and it is where our mail has landed for years.
We do not run a separate security address, so anything you believe is a security problem goes to that one and reaches the same people. And there is no minimum Outline version to match: the app asks your instance what it supports rather than refusing one it does not recognise.
What you actually get.
Everything Outline already holds, on a phone that works on the underground. Reading is free and stays free; editing is the part you pay for.

Find it the way Outline does
Full-text search on your own instance, with Outline's own filters. The words you searched for are marked in the result, so you can tell which one you meant before opening it.
